For My Handsome Husband Jorge

I never thought that I could meet someone like you.
You are my friend.
You are my smile.
You are my everything.
You are a breath-taking reflection
of God's heart for me....
of how he pursued me...
and loved me even when I didn't love myself.
You held my hand in the darkness
and you pulled me out into the light.
I love you...
You are my light.
And it doesn't matter what happens
in this life as long as you're with me.
When I look at you, I know that there's a God
and that he loved me so much
that he took the time to create you...just for me.
I love you....past my mind....beyond my heart....
I love you for my soul.
And that's the space where only you and God dwell.

We Are Officially Mr. & Mrs. Gambino

Yesterday we became Officially Mr. & Mrs. Gambino. We had a lovely Civil Ceremony w/ both sets of Parents as our Witnesses & of course our son.

Our Civil Ceremony was followed by an intimate dinner @ Gambero Rosso w/ Jorge's parents & my mother & Kevin.

Now we await our Religious Ceremony in December w/ 150 of Our Lovely Family & Dearest Friends.

We Are in Italy

It's 2:35am & I am just sitting on the floor w/ my lap top on my lap looking @ my beautiful son sleep in the same wooden crib I use to sleep in as a baby which my grandfather built for me. I look up at my son & see him smile & wonder what could he be dreaming about.

While sitting here on the very floor where I use to play on as a child I feel my grandfathers presence over me & smell my grandmas cooking. I always feel them around me, though especially whenever I am here in the only place they called home.

Every time I am here I wish I didn't have to go back home. I feel such inner peace, especially not being in the hustle & bustle of the real world.

We have accomplished so much during the last 2 days that it is incredible. We are pooped by the end of the day. Enzo that barely naps throughout the day has found himself sleeping from location to location which make it extrmely difficult for him to sleep at night.

Well I will keep you all updated on everything we have accomplished later today. I really need to get to sleep.

Heading to Barcelona

Tomorrow my little family & I are heading to Barcelona for a meeting I have on Monday. I honestly can't wait because I love Spain

Plus I will get to see some friends, that I have not seen in a while & they will get to meet my little man in person, considering the fact the last time they saw me I was pregnant w/ Enzo.

Then on Wednesday we will be heading to La Patria to finalize some things for our Wedding in December & have our Civil Ceremony on Friday, when we will officially become Mr. & Mrs. Gambino.

I have been totally MIA for the last 3 months & for good reasons. I have been working like a maniac. Then again whats new. Also I have been spending quality time w/ my son. I realized while I was working in Italy & getting home by the time he was asleep & leaving while he was still sleeping that I needed to pass the thrown for a bit & enjoy my son. They grow so fast. He is already 7months old.

I never in a million years thought I was going to be a mother due to health reasons & now that I am, I never in a million years imagined that a tiny life can consume so much of my love & energy.

My friends say I am ridiculously in love w/ my son, though in all honesty who is not in love w/ their kids.

I wake up every morning to see his smiling face & hear his laughter.

So let me enlighten you w/ everything that has been going on.

Jorge & I have been planning our Wedding, which is a bit difficult due to the time difference in Italy, though everything is petty much Rockin & Rollin for our December Wedding.

We also bought a new house. It is absolutely beautiful. It's Ocean Front & has a dock for the new boat Jorge ended up coming home with. He said Enzo made him buy it. To late to return it now.

Work is booming & I am loving it. I have ventured out to so many things & I honestly have to thank Jorge for it, because he really is pushing me to my fullest capabilites.

We have been doing a lot of traveling as well.
- Italy
- Las Vegas
- Alaska
- Chicago
- Tennessee
- Texas
- Georgia
- China
- NYC (Our 2nd Home)

My son has been all over w/ just 7 months.

Well I am going to try my hardest to keep up the blog as I was doing, though it is pretty hard when you have a child on a walker all day. LMAO
