My Valentines Day Recap

So as one of my previous posts noted: I do not subscribe to Valentine’s Day and all its little gimmicks with its lurry of red roses, candy hearts & general vomit-inducing behavior.
You cannot fool me, Hallmark. I am on to you.
Though my Fiance is!
He threw a complete curve ball at me and stated that he had surprises for me and I couldn't help but smile or obsess.
See, I love surprises a lot, but I drive myself completely insane until I discover what the surprise is.
I had no clue this time. What I could say for certain is that I have the best fiance ever.
After all, he’s managed quite the feat:
I was now excited (for the first time in my life) for Valentine’s Day.
So he showered me w/ Roses, Bought me a whole new ensemble, made me breakfast in bed, pampered me w/ a mani & pedi in the comfort of my own home while wearing a bathrobe, he flew my best friends in from Florida, had a dinner catered in our home, bought enough tickets for all of us for

&
The Best Surprise ever was:

MY MOM!
I was so Happy 2 see my mom that I couldn't help but cry.
See... During my entire pregnancy my mother was living in Boston & luckily she moved back home @ the end of 2008 to be able to experience Enzo's Birth.
I use the word "Luckily" because my son was a New Years Baby.
My mom was only able to share w/ me Enzo's 1st month before we started
"Our Adventure".
So seeing her just after a week was AWESOME.
I know I may sound retarded because it has only been a week since I have not seen any of the above mentioned people.
Though you have to look into my past.
I am only child raised by a then single mother. My mother worked long hours since she is a surgeon so my friends were my family. I was w/ everyone of them Day in & day out since the day we were born. We have experienced everything together. Love, Lost, Marriage & now Child Birth.
Now I must admit that I have spent the last 3years traveling all around the world for both work & leisure, though once I found out I was pregnant I was pretty much grounded in the 954 surrounded by my friends at all times.
So a week seems like a life time in my book.
As for the last surprise, well this is a Rated PG blog & I will like to keep it that way. So just let your imagination run wild w/ that one. LMAO
